Hans Erni, la fresque des Nations
On 6 June 2009, the entrance to the Palais des Nations was graced with
a monumental fresco by the Swiss artist, Hans Erni. Referred to in Greek
as “permanent movement” (“ta panta rei”), the two ceramic panels, installed
on each side of the entrance to the Palais, symbolize the struggle
for peace and hope of peace, freedom and social justice for all peoples
of the planet.
