“Little Yeliou: Shaped Rocks by Ocean Waves”
The rocks at Little Yeliou are mostly composed of sandstone. The strangely shaped
rocks at Little Yeliou were once carved by the ocean waves.
This area has some spectacular geologic formations, including mushroom rocks,
candle rocks, chessboard rocks, and lots of interesting ocean erosion.
One of the most famous scenic spots is the so-called “Queen’s head”, and the others
are, as named by their shapes, “the fairy’s sandal“, “bee’s hives”, etc.
Not really much else to say – the scenery was breathtaking, it looked like it could
have been the surface of the moon.
