Cotopaxi National Park

An ancient beauty, Ecuador

The Cotopaxi, “Neck of the Moon” in quechua language, is one of the most beautiful stratovolcano of the world with a summit elevation of 19,388 feet (5,911m), a perfect cone and a crater measuring approximately 700m in diameter. The National Parc is populated by a large variety of mammals from the little red brocket deer, Colpeo foxes, pumas to wild horses.
