Pour cette première initiative organisée
conjointement par l’UIT-OMPI Photoclub, le
Club Photo International (ONU) et le Photo
Club CERN le thème choisi pour le concours
a été « Les 4 éléments dans la nature ».
L’eau, l’air, la terre et le feu ont ainsi inspiré
des enthousiastes de la photographie et de la
nature. Leurs travaux ont été jugés par : Cessy
Carina (UIT- OMPI), Sergio da Silva (Club
Photo International) et Pierre Gildemyn
(Photo Club CERN). Le vernissage de l’exposition
composée d’une sélection d’une
trentaine de photos finalistes et des photos
primées a eu lieu le 17 octobre dernier dans
le bâtiment Montbrillant de l’UIT et en présence
de son secrétaire-général, Dr Hamadoun
I. Touré. L’exposition est ouverte au public
du 17 octobre au 16 novembre 2007.

PHOTO COMPETITION AND EXHIBITION
Photo competition and exhibition organized for international civil servants and diplomatic Missions in Geneva
The theme chosen for the first jointly-organized
event by ITU-WIPO Photoclub, the
Club Photo International (UN) and the CERN
Photo Club was “The four elements in nature”.
Thus water, air, earth and fire were the inspiration
for photography and nature lovers.
The photos were judged by : Cessy Carina
(ITU-WIPO), Sergio da Silva (Club Photo International)
and Pierre Gildemyn (CERN
Photo Club.
The exhibition, which consisted of the photos
awarded prizes and 30 photos from
amongst those making the final list, took
place on 17 October at ITU / Montbrillant in
the presence of the ITU Secretary-General,
Dr. Hamadoun I. Touré. The exhibition is
open to the public from 17 October to 16 November
2007.
