New CCISUA Website now online
www.ccisua.org
On the 10th of March 2006, the Coordinating
Committee for International
Staff Unions and Associations (CCISUA)
launched a brand new website at:
www.ccisua.org.
The website contains valuable information
on the work of CCISUA as a federation,
as well as information on each of its
individual members. The website, which
is frequently updated, contains news
items on the work of the federation and
its members, as well as events and useful
contacts to obtain information from the
federation.
The site has links to each of the seventeen
member staff unions/association of the federation.
Each of the members can use their
personal web pages to keep staff all over the
world up-to-date on their activities and share
information that may be valuable to others.
The Staff Union of the International
Criminal Tribunal for Yugoslavia in the
Hague (ICTY Staff Union) has taken the
lead on developing and maintaining this
website. They have been assisted by the
UNOG Staff Coordinating Council in
Geneva and the UNU Staff Council in
Tokyo. Through the efforts of these
CCISUA members, a creative and interactive
website has emerged that will
enhance CCISUA’s ability to communicate
its activities to the world.
Additional features will be added to the
website in the coming months, including
discussion forums where staff will be
able to share concerns. Make sure you
place www.ccisua.org on your list of
favorite places and check it often for the
latest news on your staff federation.
