Do you know how to apply the current object formatting to another using the Format Painter tool in Word, Excel and PowerPoint?
- Select the object that has the formatting you want to apply to another one
- Click the Format Painter button on the Standard toolbar
- The mouse pointer shape changes to a paintbrush
- Click on the object that you want with the same format
- The Format Painter button is automatically deactivated
Note: to update multiple items with the same formatting attributes as a selected object, double-click the Format Painter button on the Standard toolbar and then continue clicking on as many objects as you want to change. The Format Painter button remains active until you deactivate it by either pressing Esc orclicking on the Format Painter button again.
Do you know how to set the default folder for database folders in Access?
- Click on Tools/Options from the menu bar
- The Options window opens
- Click on General tab
- Enter folder name as appropriate in Default database folder text box
