Drip irrigation technology & wastewater recycling

“Precision Agriculture” a growing awareness of environmental issue in the new millennium
With ecology a global concern, agricultural conservation has become one of the fundamental corporate values of the society. The drip irrigation concept was born with a narrow “spaghetti” tube model as the starting point. The innovative design used spiral water passages to form a laminar water flow, enhanced today with a dripper that uses a toothed labyrinth to create turbulence in the water flowing through the dripper. The method increases the efficiency of the watering process by up to 95%. This is achieved by avoiding unnecessary watering and by minimizing water loss from evaporation. In the global warming age when deserts are expanding, these technologies might offer solutions to some of the challenges the international community is facing.
