The recently opened Career Support Centre – located in Annex Bocage I, Room 64 – has a range of resources for staff members wishing to develop their competencies and better prepare themselves for future assignments. In the Centre, you can find information related to career planning, practice sessions on writing effective PHPs/CVs and interviewing techniques, mini-workshops (half-day) on a variety of topics (including networking, career plateaus etc), together with small-group discussions, a range of books, articles, videos and websites related to various aspects of career development. In addition, it will be possible to sign up for one-to-one coaching with skilled career coaches, including a chance to undertake personality type (MBTI), team role strength (Belbin) and communication style (Thomas- Kilman) assessments.
