I don’t understand…

Why certain people are racist 
Why people believe rumors 
Why “friends” can’t keep secrets 
Why children and animals get abused 
Why animals are poached 
Why people litter 
Why there are bullies 
Why people believe they are better than others, when they aren’t

But most of all…

Why people of all ages get cancer 
Why people we care about die 
Why we say things we don’t mean 
Why some people can’t accept changes 
Why people give up 
Why people intimidate others

What I do understand the most is…

That the sun won’t last forever 
That if there is an opportunity you must grab it 
That it’s good to keep in touch with friends and family 
That you must never give up 
That you must always believe in yourself!
